Neither honestly. They are good suits but by the time you have access to them they are really outclassed by Exo suits and then WAR suits very quickly, if you're researching the right paths you'll have access to them pretty quicklyIdk, if I was struggling in a run I would go with the Wraith Suit or, if you've never used it that's a good reason to get one lolIt's jyst my preference though, I try to save all my cores for WAR Suits and Powered Weapons because you can't choose which power weapon you're going to get I like to have extra cores to reroll as often as I need to. It's really dependant on the player, which armour you prefer.I do think everyone agrees that snipers should have Spider/wraith suits, to help in their limited mobility on timed evacuation missions ( especially since the grapple doesn't use up an action), but for the rest, it's really up to the beholder.I myself prefer the versatility of an extra slot on the warden armour for most troops, and loadout one of my demo men with a War suit, to have the heavy weapon as backup for when shit goes sideways. Ammo upgrades, like tracer rounds, blue screen rounds, etc, work all match long. Especially in some games where one soldier does all the work while the rest of the team is shooting at frikking butterflies, giving each soldier a boost on every shot, outweighs the +1 armour rating and the albeit impressive 'get out of shit free' gun. It really depends on how you like playing.I loved the grapple suits in XCOM EU/W but I just find them less useful in X2.
